Provincial People's Committee leaders attended the ceremony to attach the signboard of Quy Nhon Port 110kV transformer station and connection

Quy Nhon Port 110kV Transformer Station and Connection Project has a total investment of 298 billion VND. The project includes: 110/22kV transformer station with a capacity of 2x63MVA (this phase installs 01 63MVA machine); 110kV double-circuit line (this phase installs 01 circuit first); 01 newly built 110kV feeder bay at Dong Da 110kV transformer station.

This is a relatively complex project, spread across 4 wards of Quy Nhon city, the construction items require high technical skills; in which, the transformer station is built on land belonging to Quy Nhon Port (Hai Cang ward). Started in August 2023, by September 2024, the project was completed ensuring quality and aesthetics, 3 months ahead of schedule.

Representatives of Vietnam Electricity Group presented Certificates of Merit to the Central Power Corporation and Binh Dinh Power Company for their outstanding achievements in implementing the project.

Mr. Le Huu Danh - Member of the Party Executive Committee, Deputy General Director of EVNCPC emphasized: The Quy Nhon Port 110kV Transformer Station and Connection Project is an important project in the planning of the power supply network development of Binh Dinh province in the period of 2021 - 2030. The project is invested to meet the load development needs of the central area of ​​Quy Nhon city; load sharing and capacity support for neighboring 110kV transformer stations, reduce power supply radius, ensure voltage quality, reduce power and power loss on the distribution grid; gradually complete the 110kV power grid diagram according to the N-1 mechanism to improve the reliability of power supply for Quy Nhon city in particular and Binh Dinh province in general.

This is a project registered by the EVNCPC Party Committee to complete to celebrate the 4th Congress of the Vietnam Electricity Group Party Committee, term 2025-2030 and other important events such as the 15th Congress of the EVNCPC Party Committee, term 2025-2030, which will take place on April 18, 2025; to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of EVNCPC's establishment (October 7, 1975 - October 7, 2025)./.
