Provincial People's Committee leaders inspect the dam break incident on Lu 2 River

On June 10, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the dam break incident on Lu 2 River, Tuan Tu dam section at K8+366.0m in An Hai commune (Ninh Phuoc).

At the inspection site, after hearing the report on the dam break on Lu 2 River and the work to overcome the temporary dam break to get water to serve people's production in the summer-autumn crop and to get water into the suction tank of the Pumping Station serving the concentrated safe vegetable irrigation area of ​​An Hai commune; the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Irrigation Works Exploitation Company to calculate the consulting, design and comprehensive assessment plan for the dam on Lu 2 River to ensure safety during the construction process and water storage after completion and operation; calculate the budget plan to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval to soon deploy the construction of the dam on Lu 2 River to soon store water to serve people's production and to get water into the suction tank of the Pumping Station serving the concentrated safe vegetable irrigation area of ​​the province.
