Provincial People's Committee leaders inspect the socio-economic development situation in Huu Lung district - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television

-   On the morning of April 21, comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of Inspection Team No. 2, led the inspection team to inspect the implementation of the socio -economic development plan, state budget estimates; implementation of the economic growth scenario and national target programs in 2025 in Huu Lung district.

According to the report, from the beginning of 2025, the People's Committee of Huu Lung district issued Decision No. 436/QD-UBND dated February 5, 2025 on the main tasks and solutions to direct and implement the socio-economic development plan and state budget estimates for 2025 and issue plans to implement the set goals and plans.

The district has focused on reviewing and accelerating the implementation of national target programs and socio-economic recovery and development programs according to the plan. Up to now, the district has achieved an average of 14.6 new rural criteria per commune; in the field of basic construction investment, the district has proactively allocated capital plans for project works. Regarding the results of disbursement of public investment capital, as of March 31, it was over 31.3 billion VND, reaching 42% of the capital plan assigned by the province.

The cultural and social fields are implemented promptly and in accordance with the regulations; national defense and security are maintained, and social order and safety are ensured.

Leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Thanh Son commune reported at the inspection session.

For Thanh Son commune (a commune striving to meet the new rural standards by 2025), from the beginning of the year, the People's Committee of the commune has proactively developed a plan, implemented the new rural construction program in the area and proposed implementation solutions suitable to the actual situation. As a result, Thanh Son commune has achieved 13/19 new rural criteria.

Discussing at the inspection session, representatives of departments and branches requested the district to clarify and continue to pay attention to directing the implementation of a number of related contents: disbursement of capital for national target programs; attention to extending and developing OCOP products (one commune one product program); reviewing the planning of construction material mining sites to ensure sustainable development; implementing new rural construction in communes striving to meet new rural standards; document management after administrative unit merger and arrangement; investment in tourism development; handling of petitions, especially petitions related to industrial park and cluster projects...

Concluding the inspection session, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the results of implementing socio-economic development goals and tasks and the results of implementing national target programs in the district from the beginning of 2025 to present.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he suggested that the People's Committee of Huu Lung district continue to review the progress of implementing socio-economic development targets and tasks, especially the key tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, thereby proposing effective implementation solutions; resolutely directing the budget collection work; speeding up site clearance for key projects of the province deployed in the area; strengthening land management and use and considering re-determining the growth value of sectors and fields implementing the economic growth scenario...

Regarding the socio-cultural field, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Huu Lung district to continue to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; pay attention to tourism development; focus on granting land use right certificates for cultural houses and relics; pay attention to taking care of people's lives, ensuring social security; strengthen national defense, security, and social order and safety in the area.

Regarding the implementation of national target programs, he requested Huu Lung district to review and implement the disbursement of capital sources in accordance with regulations and promote the effectiveness of the project.
