Lao Cai: In 7 months, hydropower plants contributed 710 billion VND to the budget

According to information from the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province, in the first months of 2025, hydropower plants in the area performed well in operating safe and effective power generation, contributing to the completion of electricity output targets.

The electricity output in the first 7 months of 2025 of hydropower plants in the province reached 3,483 million kWh.

Currently, hydropower projects in the province are contributing to a stable state budget.

The province currently has 105 completed and generating hydropower projects.

In the first 7 months of 2025 alone, hydropower plants contributed 710 billion VND to the budget and this revenue is expected to continue to increase in the coming time.
