Leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation met with the Public Sector - Retired Labor Union

On the afternoon of August 7, Comrade Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HLF) had a meeting with the Executive Board of the Resistance Tradition Club of the Labor Movement Bloc - Ho Chi Minh City Retired Labor Union.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Permanent Deputy Head of the Resistance Tradition Club of the Labor Movement Bloc - Ho Chi Minh City Retired Trade Union, said that the club has 475 members. Of these, 129 are labor movement cadres and 346 are retired trade union cadres.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Club has coordinated to implement many practical and meaningful activities. Specifically, organizing delegations to visit, give gifts, take care of Tet, support the needy, celebrate longevity... Thereby contributing to creating a joyful, united and cohesive atmosphere within the organization. At the same time, the Club continues to promote the implementation of political and ideological tasks, integrate revolutionary tradition education among young people and organize activities to celebrate major national holidays.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Bui Thanh Nhan expressed his joy at listening and discussing with the members of the Club's Executive Board. He acknowledged the valuable contributions and affirmed that the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation will continue to study and discuss to find specific solutions and feedback.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Bui Thanh Nhan also informed about some of the activities of the City Labor Union since the merger. He hopes to continue receiving attention and comments from the Club so that the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union staff can successfully complete their tasks in the new period.
