Establish a working group to inspect the selection of contractors for the construction of the highway section through Binh Phuoc province.

The Government Office has just issued Document No. 4755/VPCP-CN dated May 29, 2025 conveying the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on the selection of contractors for the construction of the Expressway Construction Package under the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project (section through Binh Phuoc province).

Regarding the selection of contractors for the construction of the Expressway Construction Package under the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project (section through Binh Phuoc province) invested by the Binh Phuoc Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha assigned the Ministry of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Construction to immediately establish a joint working group of the Ministry of Finance - Construction to conduct an inspection of the organization of contractor selection for this package (content of the Bidding Documents, results of bid evaluation, handling and resolution of recommendations during bidding; capacity and experience of the Expert Group and other necessary contents) to ensure fairness, objectivity, transparency and economic efficiency; ensure the correctness of the policy of maximum decentralization to localities to decide, localities to do, localities to take responsibility, but must go hand in hand with timely inspection and supervision.

Complete the inspection and report to the Prime Minister before June 10, 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Construction in the process of performing tasks; direct investors, bidding parties, and expert teams to report and provide timely and complete dossiers, information, and accompanying documents.
