District roads 34, 35, 37 in Cho Lach are decorated with flowers to set a record for the longest flower street in Vietnam in 2025.
Mr. Pham Anh Linh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province, said that the Cho Lach flower festival will take place from January 8 to 12 with the highlight being the activity of setting a record for the longest route in Vietnam.
Many tourists from all over come to Cho Lach to visit and take pictures at the Spring flower market.
This is the first year Ben Tre province has organized a flower and ornamental festival in Cho Lach district with the theme of colors.
The festival takes place at the cultural tourism village of Cho Lach district, with many programs to honor the famous flower growing village in the West and the cultural beauty of Ben Tre province. Cho Lach flower village, one of the two largest flower villages in the West next to Sa Dec.
Currently, along Highway 57, the routes through Long Thoi and Vinh Thanh communes of Cho Lach district, farmers have entered the flower and ornamental plant season to serve Tet with 13,000 households growing more than 600 hectares, about 17 million flower and ornamental plant products for Tet.
At this festival, there are 100 booths of ornamental flowers, pets, garden tourism, traditional craft villages and a food court at the festival. In addition, visitors can also experience how to make flower pots, graft seedlings, learn about the art of bonsai, and the process of producing ornamental flowers without spraying pesticides.
Along with that, visitors also witnessed a parade of 20 vintage cars, running along the flower-ornamental roads; a cockfighting festival with 150 fighting cocks from all over the country participating.
