Da Nang International Fireworks Festival: Big stage, new experience

As of May 22, the construction of the stage and stands for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 is being accelerated and is ensuring progress. The construction team said that the main structure of the stands is about 85% complete and is expected to complete all installation and safety checks on May 28. This is an important preparation step for the rehearsal night on May 30 and the official opening ceremony on the evening of May 31.

The main stage area is also gradually completing the basic items. The technical team is currently focusing on installing the sound system, lighting, LED screen and other technical support equipment. The entire construction process is organized methodically and professionally, ensuring technical safety standards, despite the hot weather in Da Nang.

This year, the fireworks stage is designed to be 60% larger than previous years, integrating a mechanical lifting dome and a modern LED system. This design not only creates a visual highlight but also opens up a flexible, highly symbolic performance space. Inspired by Da Nang's nature, the stage recreates the majestic image of Ngu Hanh Son in the middle of the ocean, with a bright pearl in the center - symbolizing the aspiration to reach far and the spirit of constant innovation of the city of the Han River.

The stage and stands will be completed on May 28.

The message "Da Nang - New Era" of DIFF 2025 is clearly expressed through the stage design language, where mountains and waves blend together, expressing the spirit of solidarity and the intersection between tradition and modernity, between nature and technology. First application of augmented reality technology

Not only outstanding for its scale of organization and artistic quality, DIFF 2025 also made its mark by becoming the first fireworks festival in Vietnam to apply augmented reality technology (AR – Augmented Reality) to the audience experience. With the companionship of the Sun Paradise Land application, the audience can not only watch fireworks with the naked eye but also interact with vivid, vivid virtual images via smartphones.

AR technology allows 3D images, sounds and narration to be superimposed on the real world , through the camera on a smartphone or tablet. There will be a total of 6 fireworks shows at DIFF 2025, corresponding to 6 completely different AR scenarios. This means that each ticket is not only a passport to the stands, but also a "key" to open a unique technological experience journey. Each audience member, when scanning their ticket, will be led through a vivid virtual space, where the blocks move to the music, accompanied by a narrative, giving the feeling of traveling throughout Da Nang city.
