Make an impression on visitors
This year's festival is organized on an expanded scale, with 55 booths registered to participate; of which, there are 34 food booths from Thailand, Korea, Japan and the provinces and cities: Gia Lai, Nghe An, Soc Trang, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Ben Tre, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa. In addition, there are 19 booths displaying Binh Dinh culinary culture, 16 OCOP product booths of 11 districts, towns and cities in the province; 4 booths displaying tourism promotion, introducing Bau Da wine, Binh Dinh rice paper, and a number of other outstanding tourism products.

The culinary promotion activities at the booths serving diners are the highlight of this festival, notably the 7.7 m long Tay Son rice rolls made by 8 chefs of the Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Association. Mr. Dang Nguyen Phi Vu, executive chef of the Odin hotel chain, participated in the Tay Son rice rolls promotion, sharing: “Tay Son rice rolls are a famous dish. From the ingredients: grilled meat, Cho Huyen spring rolls, boiled eggs, soft fried tofu, crispy spring rolls, herbs, cucumbers, we together processed the 7.7 m long Tay Son rice rolls, to introduce to visitors the culinary quintessence of the land of Vo”.
Along with that, the booths displaying Binh Dinh's OCOP products also attract diners with other dishes and drinks, such as: Jumping shrimp pancakes, Bau Da wine, grilled spring rolls, tuna hotpot, fish cake noodles, coconut rice paper, tuna eyes stewed with green pepper, first flour noodle soup...
Coming from Hai Duong province to Quy Nhon for the first time during the Culinary Culture Festival, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao and her husband, Mr. Juergen Eichhorn (German), were delighted with the joyful, bustling atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly, hospitable people of Binh Dinh. Mr. Juergen Eichhorn shared: “Here the air is fresh, the scenery is beautiful, everyone is very happy to immerse themselves in the display space, preparing diverse cuisine, attracting tourists. Coming to the festival, my family had the opportunity to watch the chefs show off their cooking skills and enjoy many delicious dishes. For me, this was an emotional trip.”

Food promotion
Along with many culinary dishes of Binh Dinh, Japanese, Korean, and Thai cuisines also attract a lot of people and tourists to enjoy.
Mr. An Ki Joon, Director of King Sejong Institute Quy Nhon, shared: “This is the second time we have participated in this festival, but we are still as excited as the first time. We bring typical dishes of the land of kimchi, such as: kimchi cake, mixed noodles, tokbokki to introduce Korean culinary culture, strengthening the solidarity of Yongsan district, Seoul city (Korea) and Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province”.
Ms. Sompong Lhungpao, Director of CP Fresh Shop (Thailand), said: “At this festival, we have prepared Thai dishes made from animals raised in a clean product chain, such as: Chinese sausages, hot dogs, fried fish balls, mooping pork..., to introduce products, as well as Thai culinary culture”.
The culinary spaces of the provinces participating in the festival, such as Thanh Hoa, Ben Tre , Gia Lai... also introduced many delicious dishes to tourists. Mr. Tran Nhuan Binh, representative of Luong Quoi Coconut Processing Company Limited (Vietcoco brand, Ben Tre province), said: "Participating in this festival is an opportunity for us to have more opportunities to promote the specialties of Ben Tre coconut land produced by Vietcoco, such as: Coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut cream...".
This year's festival left a deep impression on the hearts of locals and visitors with the gathering of domestic and international artisans and chefs directly demonstrating their skills in preparing traditional dishes, telling cultural and historical stories through each flavor, bringing interesting experiences.
According to Ms. Ho Thi Thu Hien, Vice President of Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Association, the 3-day festival attracted a large number of visitors, contributing to spreading the culinary culture of the province and orienting the development of culinary products for tourism.
Ms. Do Thi Dieu Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “Cuisine has become a “cultural ambassador” to spread the image of Binh Dinh tourism to all regions. Organizing the 2nd Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Festival - 2025 is not only an activity to stimulate tourism but also an opportunity for culinary quintessence to interact, contributing to strongly promoting the image of Binh Dinh - a friendly land, rich in identity and constantly striving to develop”.
