The 100th anniversary celebration of Nha Trang City's construction and development will be held on the morning of April 2.

On the morning of April 2, at the Khanh Hoa Provincial Convention Center (46 Tran Phu, Nha Trang City), the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nha Trang City will organize a ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction and development of Nha Trang City (1924 - 2024), and the 15th anniversary of Nha Trang being recognized as a class I city under Khanh Hoa Province (2009-2024). The program will be broadcast live on the KTV channel of Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station and the social networking platforms of Khanh Hoa Newspaper.

The celebration will be attended by more than 1,000 delegates, including: Party and State leaders, central departments, ministries, branches, provinces, cities, districts at home and abroad; leaders, former leaders of the province and Nha Trang City, departments, units of the city and typical collectives and individuals, central and local press agencies. The celebration will be held solemnly, combined with a unique art program, highly general and deeply about the cultural life, spirit and will of the people of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa over the 100-year journey of construction and development. At the celebration, representatives of the National Assembly and Government leaders will present the Third-class Labor Medal of the President and the Emulation Flag of the Government to Nha Trang City (a unit with excellent and comprehensive achievements, leading the patriotic emulation movement of Khanh Hoa province in 2023). The Provincial People's Committee will present the decision approving the Green Transformation and Green Growth Project of Nha Trang 2024-2030.

In particular, on this occasion, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee solemnly held the Ceremony to announce the Prime Minister 's Decision to adjust the general planning of Nha Trang city until 2040.

According to the leaders of Nha Trang City, the 100th anniversary of the construction and development of Nha Trang City (1924 - 2024), 15 years of Nha Trang being recognized as a class I urban area under Khanh Hoa Province (2009-2024) is a political event of great significance for the Party Committee, government and people of the city, an opportunity to review the process of construction and development of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, thereby strengthening the education of cultural traditions, revolutionary traditions and encouraging and motivating all classes of people in the city to promote the will of self-reliance, aspiration for development, striving to build the homeland of Nha Trang increasingly prosperous, civilized, happy, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020 - 2025 term, especially Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW dated January 28, 2022 of the Politburo on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa province to the year 2025. 2030, vision to 2045.

After the welcoming art performance, there will be a 15-minute low-altitude fireworks display, conducted by the Provincial Military Command.
