He was the one who founded, led, trained, and was the great teacher of Vietnam's revolutionary press. The event aims to honor the achievements of Vietnam's revolutionary press over the past 100 years. This is also a guideline for journalists to continue their noble mission in the period when the country is striving to enter a new era. We are forever proud and grateful to our leaders, revolutionary soldiers, and outstanding, exemplary senior journalists.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized: Reaching the threshold of 100 years is not only a glorious tradition, a revolutionary mark, proud stories of the past, but also the position and appearance of a press, with nearly 800 press agencies and a team of 41,000 journalists with professional expertise, steadfastness, mastery of modern press technology, being the nation's key press agencies, press agencies trusted by the public and reaching regional and world levels. Our Party and State always affirm: Vietnamese revolutionary press is an inseparable part of the entire ideological and cultural work of the Party, of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Our press takes the interests of the nation, the people, the happiness and prosperity of the people as the ultimate goal, all for a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization.
The new era, the new revolutionary period requires new, advanced, humane methods of information, knowledge, and thinking, which revolutionary journalism must undertake. The press public not only needs to provide fast, attractive information, but also needs accuracy, humanity, verification, orientation, analysis, commentary, constructive solutions, and multi-dimensional forecasts. Technology platforms and digital transformation revolution will fundamentally change the way journalism works. Every international movement is organically linked to domestic life, when cyberspace is limitless, the nation is linked to the region and the world.
In the integration and association, identity, individuality and uniqueness are the values that are needed in the human community. The press informs and propagates policies and guidelines, but also needs to be courageous and responsible in criticizing and exchanging to move towards the truth and good cultural values of the nation; resolutely fighting against evil, degradation, manifestations of corruption, waste and negativity. That vivid reality requires every journalist, every editorial office, every local or central association to change and improve themselves.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam emphasized: The 100-year journey of the history of Vietnam's revolutionary press is a vivid testament to the great role of writers in the struggle for national independence and the building and protection of the socialist Fatherland. From hand-printed newspapers in the middle of the war zone, to today's multimedia press agencies, from hand-written articles under bombs and bullets to the application of modern means, information technology, artificial intelligence... Vietnamese revolutionary journalists have affirmed their mettle, intelligence, dedication, creativity, and steadfastness to ideals, always sticking to practical life, in harmony with the breath and rhythm of life of the people.
In recent years, our country's press has proactively innovated its content, form, technology and journalistic thinking; the team of journalists has been constantly innovating and strongly applying digital technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced scientific and technological achievements to create a new, modern, humane and popular press content. The press has promoted the image of the country and Vietnamese people to the world, demonstrating Vietnam's solidarity and responsibility towards friends, progressive forces and world development. The press is a means of spreading national cultural values, arousing patriotism, development aspirations and affirming Vietnamese cultural identity in the era of integration. The key press agencies have played a good role in guiding information, worthy of being the beacons of the country's revolutionary press system.

Proud of the glorious tradition with remarkable developments, growth and great contributions over the past century, with the goal of building a revolutionary, professional, humane and modern press and media, the team of journalists today is increasingly aware of their mission and responsibility in the new development period of the country, continuing to devote themselves, closely following reality, being quick, accurate, professional, lighting up faith, creating the future to fulfill the noble mission that society always cherishes, making worthy contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, together with the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army, striving to rise up, realizing the aspiration of building a strong, powerful, prosperous and happy Vietnam./.
