Speaking at the program, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union Le Kim Thuong sent his deep gratitude to war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and people with revolutionary contributions, and called on all levels of the Youth Union and Youth Union members and youth in the city to be more aware and responsible for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

“The war has long gone, but the sacred values from the sacrifices of the heroes and martyrs, of the previous generation, are always a precious spiritual foundation, guiding the way for today's youth to move forward. Each candle lit tonight will forever be a sacred symbol of the sense of responsibility, gratitude and aspiration for a useful life of today's youth. We are grateful to live better, to move forward with determination and action,” said Mr. Le Kim Thuong.

At the program, 20 gifts of gratitude were presented to former youth volunteers and veterans who participated in the resistance war.
