Latest schedule of the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final: Entering the tiger's den

At 8:00 p.m. on January 5, the Vietnamese team will face the Thai team again in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final. In the first leg at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ), coach Kim Sang-sik's students defeated the "war elephants" with a score of 2-1. Therefore, if they can only draw with their opponents in the second leg, Nguyen Xuan Son and his teammates will be crowned champions.

In his latest sharing, coach Kim Sang-sik of the Vietnamese team said that the only goal of the whole team at the moment is to win the championship. "You have to go into the cave to catch the tiger. We came to Thailand to do this," coach Kim Sang-sik expressed and said that the Vietnamese team has fully prepared and is ready for the second leg of the final match.

Meanwhile, coach Ishii of the Thai team believes that his players will play well and give their all for the thousands of fans who will come to the stadium to cheer them on. Mr. Ishii also highly appreciates the strength of striker Nguyen Xuan Son and believes that there is a plan to neutralize this striker.

If they beat Thailand, the Vietnamese team will have the Southeast Asian championship trophy for the third time in history (the previous two times were in 2008 and 2018). Nguyen Xuan Son's talent and Hoang Duc's high performance are the motivation for the Vietnamese team to compete with Thailand. In the first leg of the final, Xuan Son scored both goals for the Vietnamese team.

The second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final between Vietnam and Thailand will take place at 8:00 p.m. at Rajamangala Stadium.
