The Vietnamese women's volleyball team (ranked 23rd in the world ) and the Kenyan team (ranked 25th in the world) both lost 2 matches, losing their chance to continue, but both expressed their determination to seek an honorable victory before saying goodbye to the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship.

The Kenyan team is no stranger to coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team as they recently played a friendly match at Dong Anh Stadium ( Hanoi ) before the 2025 World Cup. At that time, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates won 4-0. However, that friendly match did not fully reflect the abilities of both teams and so they will show their full potential in tomorrow's match.

The Kenyan team is highly regarded for its powerful playing style, with Adhiambo showing great form, being the top scorer when she scored 19 points against Germany (ranked 11th in the world) and 18 points against Poland. Surely the coaching staff of the Vietnamese team has grasped the power of this star and has a plan to neutralize it.

"The goal that the team set from the beginning was to compete and learn from strong opponents. Of course, we also wanted to win in our first participation in the world tournament and so the whole team was determined to compete with Kenya," coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet expressed.

In the match against Germany, captain Tran Thi Thanh Thuy played explosively with 17 points. This 1.90 m tall hitter is expected to continue to shine when facing the Kenyan team. In addition, hitters Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Thi Trinh also promise to be in good playing condition.
