Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Thap and Kien Giang provinces visited and worked in Dong Nai

(DN) - On May 26, in Bien Hoa city, the leaders of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province received a delegation of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Thap and Kien Giang provinces for a visit and work.

During the program, the units discussed a number of issues related to the work of building the association organization, developing members; foreign non- governmental work; allocating resources to implement projects, non-foreign non-governmental projects; organizing knowledge updates, training on people's diplomacy for each target group... At the same time, the parties also exchanged some information related to the arrangement of the apparatus of each unit in the coming time to ensure that friendly activities take place continuously.

On this occasion, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Thap and Kien Giang provinces visited the operational models of member friendship associations of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province.

Dong Nai Province Union of Friendship Organizations has established 10 member friendship associations, including: Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Russian Federation, France, China, United States and ASEAN with a total of nearly 11,000 members.

For many consecutive years, the Dong Nai Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations has been among the leading localities in the country in people-to-people diplomacy.
