On the morning of May 15, Nam Giang district held a meeting to unify the content of the 6th "Gong Echoes" Festival in 2024.

The 6th "Gong Echoes" Festival of Nam Giang district will take place from June 25-26, 2024, with the theme "Nam Giang - shimmering cultural colors".

The festival will feature artistic activities: a competition on the space for displaying historical artifacts, traditional ethnic cultures and typical products of each locality, traditional musical instrument performances, combined with performances of traditional sculptures, traditional brocade weaving and traditional weaving of ethnic minorities. In addition, the festival will also host a competition on traditional ethnic cuisine ; a competition on traditional costumes; a competition on gong and ding tut art performances of ethnic minorities. Excerpts will be performed to reenact the restored rituals of the Co Tu (Ta Bhing) traditional wedding ceremony, the Co Tu (Zuoih) village founding ceremony, the Ta Rieng (Dac Toi) new rice celebration and the Ve (Dac Pre) wedding ceremony.

This is an activity within a series of events to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Nam Giang District Party Committee (June 28, 1949 - June 28, 2024).
