On November 23, 2025, at the Van Phuc Diplomatic Corps (Hanoi), the 2025 International Culinary Culture Festival officially opened. With the extensive support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the 2025 International Culinary Culture Festival continues to be organized by the Department of Diplomatic Corps Services, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The festival was honored to welcome Ms. Ngo Phuong Ly - Wife of General Secretary To Lam and Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, who spread the spirit of humanity and warm sharing.
The Festival was also honored to welcome Leaders, Former Leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their spouses, Ambassadors, Heads of Representative Offices and their spouses, international organizations, localities, businesses and a large number of people to visit and enjoy the cuisine .

In her opening speech, Ms. Le Nguyet Anh - Wife of Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung said that since 2014, the "International Culinary Culture Festival" has gone beyond the framework of a normal exchange activity to become a symbol of the spirit of friendship, sharing and international solidarity in Hanoi.
Each stall, each dish, each cultural story told through flavors contributes to lighting up bridges of connection - where national values meet, where understanding blossoms and where friendship between Vietnam and international friends is nurtured with sincerity and kindness.
“This year’s festival takes place at a time when many localities in Vietnam are suffering heavy losses due to natural disasters and floods. In the atmosphere of today’s event, we are even more inclined to think and feel for our compatriots who are facing difficulties,” Ms. Le Nguyet Anh affirmed.
According to the Foreign Minister's wife, the 2025 Festival carries greater significance than a cultural festival - it is a humanitarian act, a message of goodwill, an affirmation of the strength of international solidarity in challenging times.

This year’s program is even more meaningful as it is held on the occasion of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, November 23. “This is a moment for us to contemplate and honor the diverse beauty of national cultures – where each flavor not only reminds us of our homeland but also tells stories about the history, customs, art and soul of each nation. A journey of flavors is a journey of memories, emotions and mutual understanding,” said Ms. Le Nguyet Anh.
Sharing at the event, Party Central Committee member, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga affirmed that the 2025 International Food and Culture Festival is a space to honor cultural and culinary diversity, but also an opportunity to turn our hearts to our compatriots who are heavily affected by storms and floods in the Central, South Central and Central Highlands regions.
On behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice President Ha Thi Nga called on the units participating in the Festival to promote the spirit of humanity and join hands to support people in flood-affected areas. Whether financial or in-kind contributions, big or small, each heart is a priceless source of encouragement to help people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Sharing the same spirit of humanity, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Ha Vi highly appreciated the influence and humanistic significance of the Festival, and sent his deep condolences to the Government and people of Vietnam for the losses caused by natural disasters.
Ambassador Ha Vi said the Chinese Government decided to provide 500,000 USD in support to help localities overcome the consequences, demonstrating friendship and sharing in difficult times.

Within the framework of the “International Food and Culture Festival 2025”, the Organizing Committee has launched a charity gift-giving activity, aiming at people in provinces that suffered heavy losses due to storms and floods. The gifts, including financial support and essential items, were handed to local representatives.
This is a practical gesture, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", while spreading the kindness and community responsibility of those working in foreign affairs, businesses and international friends in Vietnam.
The Hanoi International Food and Culture Festival has been successfully held for 12 times. Each festival brings together the culinary and cultural quintessence from all over the world, bringing distant flavors closer, so that people can “travel around the world with taste”, have a civilized dialogue through each dish, and feel the diverse exchange of cultures.
This year's festival had the participation of 128 booths from 50 embassies, 20 local foreign affairs agencies, 8 units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, businesses and many international organizations. The culinary festival was really exciting with the culinary promotion "Culinary Diary without Borders", the experience "Taste Journey around the world", the promotion "Flavors of Vietnam" and many other interesting activities.
The Organizing Committee estimates that nearly 20,000 visitors came to visit and enjoy diverse and typical dishes from many countries prepared and sold in the common space of the Festival.
