International Food Culture Festival 2025: A taste journey connecting five continents

More than 120 booths from embassies, consulates, foreign cultural centers, local foreign affairs departments, domestic enterprises and international organizations will participate in the 2025 International Food Festival taking place for two days from November 22-23 at the Diplomatic Corps Area, 298 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh Ward, Hanoi.

Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ' leaders, the Department of Diplomatic Corps Services was assigned to coordinate with the State Protocol Department, the Department of Information and Press, the World and Vietnam Newspaper and agencies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the 2025 International Culinary Culture Festival taking place over two days from November 22-23.

The International Culinary Culture Festival is one of the annual events to promote cultural and culinary exchanges between Vietnam and international friends, attracting an increasing number of participation from embassies, foreign cultural centers, foreign affairs departments representing provinces, cities, businesses and units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event contributes to strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding, while promoting cultural diplomacy, connecting the relationship between foreign diplomatic agencies and the local foreign affairs department system through cultural and culinary exchange activities organized annually.

The 2025 International Culinary Culture Festival with the theme “Trip of Flavors - A journey of taste across five continents” is not only an opportunity to honor and promote the unique values ​​of Vietnamese and world culinary culture, but also an opportunity to promote cultural diplomacy, expand international cooperation and spread the image of a friendly, creative and integrated Vietnam.

This year's event was elaborately prepared and expanded in scale, with more than 120 food booths from embassies, consulates, foreign cultural centers, international organizations, local foreign affairs departments and large enterprises.

This year’s festival marked a clear change in organization and experience, when for the first time applying digital technology with the “Digital Interactive Corner”. Here, visitors can look up program information, view event maps, learn about typical cuisines of different countries and participate in modern multimedia experiences.

In addition, there are a series of new and creative activities such as “Borderless Cuisine Diary”, “Fashion Food Show”, “Global Beer Fest”, “ASEAN Common Roof”, “Global Cuisine Avenue” and “Three Regions of Vietnam” areas, bringing a colorful taste journey where cuisine, culture and people blend in an open and vibrant space.

The program is a cultural bridge with diplomacy, connecting culinary cultures through each dish, from traditional flavors to modern creations, affirming the role of cuisine in connecting friendship and international cooperation.
