LivWell and California Fitness began collaborating in 2020 to digitally transform, enhance the fitness experience, and provide microinsurance plans for California members.
"Our goal is to create an ecosystem of complementary services that benefit users. When users have the opportunity to exercise and improve their physical health, the financial burden of investing in health insurance is also reduced," said Pedro Baliza, CEO of LivWell.
“This summer, the two companies will collaborate on the ‘One Life Live Well’ campaign, focusing on four key elements that make up a healthy and happy life: constant connection, holistic nutrition, overcoming challenges, and peak training,” said Dean Ramos, CEO of California Fitness. “This campaign aims to inspire and encourage Vietnamese people to become more active in their fitness routines and improve their quality of life.”
The LivWell One package includes a gym membership, telemedicine , nutrition advice, and a smart fitness tracker, all of which can be priced easily and transparently.

LivWell has previously focused on individual users, starting with providing accident insurance to California Fitness members and has sold over 51,000 micro policies with partner Allianz Partners. LivWell was recently nominated as one of the top 50 insurance technology companies in Asia Pacific by Insurtech Connect, an industry-leading magazine. LivWell currently has 160,000 active users.
