Ha Nam starts construction of 2 traffic and urban infrastructure projects worth over 765 billion VND

On April 19, Ha Nam province organized the groundbreaking ceremony for two projects: Investment project to build a connecting road from T3 road to DH03 and infrastructure connecting with the existing residential area under the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan of Tam Chuc Indigenous Culture and Community Tourism Area (area number 4); Infrastructure improvement project, creating urban landscape, landscape of Tam Chuc Tourist Area.

The investment project to build a connecting road from T3 road to DH03 and infrastructure connecting to the existing residential area under the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan of Tam Chuc Indigenous Culture and Community Tourism Area (area number 4) and the project to renovate infrastructure, create urban landscape, landscape of Tam Chuc Tourist Area were approved by the People's Committee of Ha Nam province, with a total investment of 765.6 billion VND; the project implementation period is 2024 - 2026.

The project to improve infrastructure, create urban landscape, and landscape of Tam Chuc Tourist Area aims to clear a total land area of ​​about 19.4 hectares, located in Lien Son, Kha Phong communes and Ba Sao town; leveling and renovating the ground, investing in a number of construction items to improve infrastructure and create landscape for the project area.

The investment in the construction of the connecting route from T3 to DH03 and the infrastructure connecting with the existing residential area under the Tam Chuc Indigenous Culture and Community Tourism Area Sub-Zone Planning (Zone No. 4) is a necessary requirement to create a synchronous connection of the infrastructure of Tam Chuc Tourist Area with neighboring functional sub-zones in the area of ​​Kim Bang town; create connections to develop diverse types of tourism and services in the area; strengthen the connection to develop tourism between Tam Chuc Tourist Area, Ha Nam with Trang An - Bai Dinh Tourist Area, Ninh Binh and Huong Pagoda in the Tam Chuc - Huong Son - Van Long - Dong Tam Complex.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said that these projects have strategic significance in developing tourism and urban landscape, inter-regional connectivity, gradually turning tourism into a spearhead economic sector of Ha Nam province. That not only meets the expectations of the people in the province but also opens up opportunities for sustainable and comprehensive development, contributing to enhancing the position of Ha Nam province on the economic and tourism map of Vietnam.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Ito Naoki highly appreciated the development prospects of Vietnam, including Hai Duong province, with advantages of convenient transportation, many industrial parks, factories and a large population, with many people working for Japanese companies.

On the same day, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Investment Project to build Provincial Road 394B, Hai Duong province (the section connecting Provincial Road 395 to the North-South axis, Thanh Mien district) and the technical opening ceremony for the Investment Project to build the East-West axis road, Hai Duong province.

AEON Hai Duong Commercial Center project has a scale of 3.5 hectares, located near the intersection between Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue and Vo Van Kiet Avenue in Lien Hong Commune and Thach Khoi Ward (Hai Duong City). The project has a total investment of 1,170 billion VND, with an operating period of 50 years. AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. is the project investor. The retail business center distributes products with a scale of about 5,000 items of all kinds; about 150 booths for rent for business purposes.

Yen Bai inaugurates 4.15km long road worth over 400 billion

On the morning of April 19, Yen Bai province solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of the road connecting National Highway 37 and National Highway 32C with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway.

The investor representative, Mr. Tran Xuan Cuong - Director of the Traffic Project Management Board of Yen Bai province, said that the project has a total investment of 412 billion VND. The route is 4.15km long, with a road surface width of 33m, designed according to modern urban road standards. The starting point of the route connects directly to the end point of the Bach Lam bridge project (at Km93+070 on National Highway 32C), and the end point intersects with Au Co road at Km6+606, in Gioi Phien commune, Yen Bai city.

"The completion and putting into use of the road connecting National Highway 37 and National Highway 32C with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway on the occasion of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification is a great honor. Cua Lap 2 Bridge "finished" on schedule, strengthening connectivity in the Eastern sea region

Also on April 19, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held a ceremony to open the road section from Nha Lon Long Son to National Highway 51 and Cua Lap 2 Bridge on DT994 route. Cua Lap 2 Bridge is one of the key items on the coastal route of Vung Tau - Binh Thuan that has been completed.

Cua Lap 2 Bridge is 721m long, more than 12m wide, consists of 20 cantilever spans, designed for 3 lanes. Construction started in August 2023.

Looking up from the middle of Cua Lap River, the new bridge appears clearly against the blue sky. Cua Lap 2 Bridge stretches parallel to the existing Cua Lap Bridge, creating a landscape highlight on the coastal road and expanding the traffic connection space from Vung Tau City to Binh Chau, Ho Tram, La Gi (Binh Thuan).

The bridge is 721m long, over 12m wide, consists of 20 cantilever spans, designed for 3 lanes. This is a key project of the Vung Tau - Binh Thuan coastal road project, with a total length of nearly 77km and a total investment of over 6,500 billion VND.

The completion of Cua Lap 2 Bridge not only helps reduce the load on the old bridge but also expands the traffic capacity of the eastern gateway area of ​​Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, creating favorable conditions for the development of tourism, trade and coastal real estate.

Cua Lap 2 Bridge, a key project on the coastal route from Vung Tau to Binh Thuan, will officially be put into operation on April 19.

The Vung Tau - Binh Thuan coastal route starts at the intersection with Highway 991B (Phu My Town) and ends at Highway 55 (Xuyen Moc District), forming a strategic link between Ba Ria - Vung Tau and the southern tourist centers of Binh Thuan Province. The remaining part of the project is currently under synchronous construction and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.

When completed, the coastal route will become a new development corridor, playing an important role as an East-West connecting axis, contributing to completing the regional traffic infrastructure network and creating growth momentum for the eastern coastal area of ​​the province in the strategy of sustainable marine economic development.

Ganh Hao bridge connecting Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces opens to traffic

This morning, Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces held a technical opening ceremony for the Ganh Hao bridge construction investment component project connecting Ca Mau - Bac Lieu with a total investment of 655 billion VND.

The Ganh Hao Bridge construction investment project with a total investment of 655 billion VND is one of three component projects of the Ong Doc River Bridge Construction Project, the East-West axis road and Ganh Hao Bridge with a total investment of 2,150 billion VND, using the central budget support and the budget of Ca Mau province.

Leaders of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu provinces and localities performed the technical opening ceremony of Ganh Hao bridge.

Ganh Hao Bridge has a total length of 770 m, a bridge deck width of 12 m, including 14 approach spans, designed and constructed using balanced cantilever technology, a navigation width of 60 m, a navigation height of 11 m, invested by the Ca Mau Provincial Traffic Construction Project Management Board, starting construction in March 2023.

In particular, the completion of Ganh Hao bridge will not only facilitate travel for people in the two provinces but also motivate socio-economic development in the coming time.

Currently, Ganh Hao estuary is the administrative boundary, the gateway to the East Sea of ​​the two provinces of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu, and at the same time plays an important role in many aspects, being the connection point along the East coast through the provinces of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu with National Highway 1 and the West Sea area through the provinces of Ca Mau and Kien Giang.

Ganh Hao Bridge is the largest bridge project that has been invested in connecting the two provinces of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu. This is the last "hyphen" to connect the road from Song Doc estuary on the West Sea to Ganh Hao estuary on the East Sea, eliminating the separation as well as the monopoly of road traffic in this estuary area.

4 months ahead of schedule, Nhon Trach Bridge prepares for technical traffic opening

Nhon Trach Bridge, part of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, is in its final stages of completion and is expected to open to traffic on April 27, nearly 4 months ahead of schedule compared to the original plan.

At noon in April, at the Nhon Trach Bridge construction site (passing through Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City), the sun was scorching hot but hundreds of engineers and workers were still working tirelessly. From the bridge deck to the approach roads, all construction sites were entering the final stages to complete before the April 30 holiday.

Nhon Trach Bridge, part of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, is in its final stages of completion and is expected to open to technical traffic on April 27.

Mr. Tran Binh An - Project Director said that the bridge has completed more than 99% of the volume, currently the construction teams are focusing on asphalting the bridge surface, installing railings, painting road markings, cleaning and preparing auxiliary items. The goal is to complete everything in the next few days, ensuring technical conditions for on-time traffic opening.

“Despite the extreme heat, our team still works in shifts day and night to keep up with the schedule. The entire project is being accelerated to put this important bridge into operation sooner than expected,” Mr. An shared.

Not only Nhon Trach bridge, many other items on the route such as Rach Chay bridge, the overpass system at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway are also being urgently completed. Currently, the main items have reached about 90% of the volume.

At the construction site of the access road on the Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City banks, dozens of mechanical vehicles such as dump trucks, rollers, asphalt trucks, etc. are operating busily from early morning to late at night. The scene of 3 shifts and 4 crews creating a vibrant and fierce picture of labor.

Mr. Nguyen Van Kinh, a worker who directly participated from the first days of construction, emotionally said: “We work like a big family. Sometimes we stay up all night pouring asphalt, but everyone encourages each other to try. Seeing the bridge gradually completed is a great joy.”

Another young engineer also shared that the weather and tides used to be big challenges, but everyone has gotten used to the “construction site life”. The project management board and construction units often encourage and support good living conditions, helping the brothers feel secure at work.

Component Project 1A (Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3) has a total length of 8.22km, passing through Dong Nai for 6.3km and Ho Chi Minh City for 1.92km, invested by My Thuan Project Management Board, with a total capital of over VND6,955 billion. Of which, Nhon Trach Bridge is 2.6km long, including 4 motor vehicle lanes and 2 mixed lanes, with a total investment of about VND1,800 billion.

The project started on September 24, 2022 and was originally scheduled to be completed on September 29, 2025. However, with efforts to exceed the schedule, Nhon Trach Bridge can be completed 4 months early.

The entire Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 route is over 76km long, passing through 4 localities including Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An, with a total investment of over 75,378 billion VND. The project plays a strategic role in connecting inter-regional traffic, reducing pressure on the central area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City, while creating momentum for economic, trade and logistics development for the key economic region in the South.
