This afternoon, after the closing ceremony of the 2025 Vesak Great Festival, concluding the pilgrimage period at Thanh Tam Pagoda (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), the relics of the Buddha were placed in protective equipment and loaded onto a specialized vehicle to be transported to the Buddhist Exhibition Center on Ba Den Mountain ( Tay Ninh ).

People stood in long lines, respectfully clasping their hands and bowing in reverence as the vehicle carrying the Buddha's relics passed by. Numerous Buddhists and citizens had the opportunity to venerate the Buddha's relics at Thanh Tam Pagoda from May 3rd to noon on May 8th.

At 2:30 PM, the procession carrying the Buddha's relics arrived at the foot of Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh). The Vesak delegation accompanying the Buddha's relics to Ba Den Mountain included 1,200 international delegates from more than 80 countries such as India, Bhutan, China, France, Germany, Nepal, Japan, etc.

The relics of the Buddha are moved to the viewing room for veneration and respectful worship before the public is allowed to venerate them.

Upon learning that the relics were being brought back, many Buddhists and local people arrived at Ba Den Mountain early. When they saw the relic procession, everyone clasped their hands in reverence.

Located at the foot of the Bodhisattva statue on Mount Tây Bổ Đà, the Buddhist Exhibition Center is a place for venerating the relics of the Buddha. It features a 3D mapping cinema, showcasing 3D holograms about the formation of the universe, and displays models of 16 famous temples in Vietnam. Additionally, it exhibits replicas of classic Buddhist artworks.

The relics of the Buddha are a national treasure of India, and the Government of the Republic of India approved their request to bring them to Vietnam under strict security and ceremonial protocols through government-level diplomatic channels.

After the relics of the Buddha were enshrined in Tay Ninh, people and Buddhists can come to pay their respects from 6 PM on May 8th to May 13th.

Subsequently, the relics of the Buddha will be transported from Ba Den Mountain to Hanoi and enshrined at Quan Su Pagoda. From May 14-16 (corresponding to April 17-19 in the lunar calendar), the relics will be displayed on the first floor of the Quan Su Pagoda's assembly hall for Buddhists and people from all over to come and pay their respects, from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM daily.

On May 17th, the relics of the Buddha will be brought to Tam Chuc Pagoda (Ha Nam province). On May 21st, the organizing committee will escort the relics back to India.
