On June 25, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City announced that the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF 3) directed by the People's Committee of Da Nang City, organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Vietnam Film Promotion and Development Association (VFDA) will open and close at the Ariyana International Convention Palace.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, after two successful events, the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival with the theme "DANAFF - Asian Bridge" will take place with a new step forward in scale and artistic quality.

DANAFF 3 has made remarkable progress in terms of scale, organization time and program content with many new highlights, such as: half a century of Vietnamese war films; Korean cinema spotlight program; project incubator.

Notably, the launch of the "Asian Cinema Panorama" program - a selection of outstanding and successful Asian cinema works at international film festivals in the past year, along with films selected by DANAFF for their premieres, and the appearance of the "Asian Film Critics Award".

In particular, throughout the film festival, there will be free screenings of 106 films and 184 screenings at the following cinema complexes: Le Do, CGV, Galaxy, Lotte and outdoor screenings at: Bach Dang walking street (June 30), Bien Dong park (July 1), and Lien Chieu District Administrative Center Square (July 2).
The organizers said that delegates and guests attending DANAFF 3 are famous Asian and international film stars and experts; famous Vietnamese filmmakers and artists, filmmakers whose works are participating in the film festival...

The exchange program with artists and directors is an opportunity for the audience to meet and chat directly with famous filmmakers and actors at home and abroad; especially with the participation of Korean actors Ji Chang-wook, Ji Seung-hyun, Park Sung-woong, Moon So-ri.

Special Jury Prize for Asian Film (75 million VND, equivalent to 3,000 USD).

Best Actor (50 million VND, equivalent to 2,000 USD).
Best Actress (50 million VND, equivalent to 2,000 USD).
Best Screenplay (50 million VND, equivalent to 2,000 USD).

The NETPAC Award for Outstanding Vietnamese Film is decided by the NETPAC Jury, selected from the Vietnamese Films in competition, without prize money.
Audience Award - for the most favorite Vietnamese film voted by the audience among the films participating in the program "Today's Vietnamese Cinema" without prize money.
Film Achievement Award: DANAFF Iconic Cup and Certificate (no prize money).
Young Critics Award for Best Asian Film in the Asian Cinema Panorama program (no prize money).
