In response to this issue, the Prime Minister requested that it is necessary to resolutely implement the use of electronic invoices generated from cash registers related to food and beverage services and retail services with the motto "Harmonious benefits, shared risks".

In fact, many retail establishments and service businesses are developing strongly and making high profits, but tax payments to the state budget are still limited. There are establishments selling food and drinks... with a large number of customers and high revenue, but customers pay in cash or transfer money, and the authorities do not have a specific method of assessing tax collection, causing budget losses.

Implementing the directive on using electronic invoices generated from cash registers after each sale, Bac Giang has had more than 100 businesses, business households, and establishments installing cash registers. This invoice has advantages such as: Sellers can issue invoices immediately to customers when transactions occur, do not need to sign the invoice, proactively correct errors... Buyers can receive invoices immediately upon payment, and they can be accounted for as valid expenses. Because invoices are electronically connected to tax authorities, it helps the tax sector facilitate management, create transparency, and avoid tax losses.

The advantages of electronic invoices generated from cash registers have been confirmed. To do this well, according to some experts, it is necessary to regulate business conditions; if a cash register generating electronic invoices is not installed, the business license will not be granted.
