Colorful with giant lanterns

(Fatherland) - 30 giant lantern models with many shapes imbued with the cultural identities of 5 countries were introduced to the public on the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025.

Taking place from January 18, 2025 to March 16, 2025, the Ocean International Lantern Festival & Competition 2025 was held at Vinhome Ocean Park 2 (Van Giang, Hung Yen ), 16 competing teams introduced to the public 30 giant lantern models with many themes and cultural features of 5 participating countries.

"Longmen Gate" lantern model

The model "Sacred Soul of Vietnam" by the Hoi An Craft team won First Prize at the 2025 Ocean International Lantern Festival & Competition.

The snake lantern model symbolizes the year of the Snake.

"Spring Love Song" lantern model by Quang Minh team - Tuyen Quang and "Dong Ho Buffalo" lantern model by Nguyen Tan Phat team - Duong Lam.

The lantern model "Lac Long Quan Returns" by the Color Team - Thanh Tuyen won the Encouragement Prize at the 2025 Ocean International Lantern Festival & Competition.

"Thanh Giong" lantern model of the Lung Linh Le Hoi Thanh Tuyen competition team.

Many people and tourists came to contemplate and did not forget to record beautiful moments at the Festival space.

Models from participating teams from China, Korea, Japan, and Thailand also won prizes at the 2025 Ocean International Lantern Competition & Festival.

The space displaying lantern models stretches nearly 2km.

Along with the sparkling works of art, the festival also features vibrant music performances, diverse cultural activities and the "Wish Road" for visitors to send their best wishes for the New Year. The event not only honors traditional culture but also contributes to promoting the image of Vietnam to the world, contributing to putting the country on the international tourism map./.
