By simply scanning the QR-Code of the Red Address Digital Map, residents and visitors can watch videos introducing information about more than 80 historical sites and red addresses in the city, produced by youth union members. This is considered a "bright spot" in studying and following Uncle Ho when units and youth union members have promoted the spirit of vanguard, overcoming difficulties in human resources, technology and resources to successfully complete digital products, contributing to preserving and spreading the revolutionary tradition of the homeland on the digital platform.

In a small alley on Tran Cao Van Street (Thanh Khe District), there is a national historical relic, which is the Memorial House of Mother Nhu and the 7 Thanh Khe Heroes. In the past, Mother Nhu's house used to be a secret bunker to hide cadres and revolutionary armed forces, an important location in the key strategic triangle: An Khe - Phu Loc - Thanh Ha Khe of the revolutionary movement against the US to save the country.

Every year, the relic site welcomes many groups of visitors to offer incense, visit and learn about the feats of Mother Nhu and the Seven Thanh Khe Heroes - resounding feats in the battle against the US to save the country in the past.

In March 2024, Thanh Khe District Youth Union digitized and attached QR-Code at the memorial house of Mother Nhu and 7 Thanh Khe Heroes. When visiting, people and tourists only need to bring their smartphones to scan the QR-Code, then all information about the relic will be displayed quickly and completely. In addition, the QR-Code also provides information about other historical and cultural relics in the ward such as the Mother of Heroes Monument, Thanh Khe Communal House, Linh Clan Church, etc.

Promoting the spirit of creativity, promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation of the youth, recently, the Youth Union of Thanh Khe Dong Ward (Thanh Khe District) carried out the youth project "3D Architectural Map" - attaching QR-Code at the Mother Nhu Monument. A majestic and imposing monument, standing in the middle of Dien Bien Phu Street - the gateway to the city center.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh - Secretary of Thanh Khe Dong Ward Youth Union said that this is a project to digitize local iconic monuments and architectures into the digital environment.

Using modern filming equipment such as flycam, digital cameras to build input data sources. Then apply artificial intelligence (AI) technology in building 3D models of architecture.

By scanning the code with their phones, residents and visitors will be provided with real, visual images of the Mother Nhu Monument and the surrounding area; in addition, viewers can interact from every angle.

According to Thanh Khe District Youth Union Secretary Vo Duy Rin: "The above youth projects demonstrate the pioneering, innovative and creative spirit of the youth in promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in the work of preserving and promoting the values of local historical and cultural relics. The products not only contribute to promoting the image of local historical and cultural values to domestic and foreign tourists, but alsoeducate the tradition of patriotism for students and the young generation of the district in particular and the whole city in general."

"Digitizing red addresses" in Da Nang city is one of two youth projects launched by the Da Nang City Youth Union during Youth Month 2023. Accordingly, the affiliated Youth Unions will coordinate with related units to: Build a route of explanatory lectures introducing historical sites; record audio files of explanatory content; convert into digital data and integrate into QR codes in Vietnamese and English.

For information on red addresses, the City Youth Union coordinates with the Da Nang Museum to use the most official and accurate information source, providing it to all affiliated units. After completing the video clips, the City Youth Union will attach QR-Codes at these red addresses.

After more than 1 year of implementation, in March 2024, the City Youth Union launched the Red Address Digital Map with all 83 historical relics and red addresses that have been digitized by the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the city in the past time. With the online form, the Red Address Digital Map helps young people, residents and tourists easily find out the geographical location and information about red addresses associated with the revolutionary tradition of their homeland.

Immediately after completion, the City Youth Union implemented the model "Bringing red addresses to schools", deploying to 100% of primary, secondary, high schools, and colleges in the city to attach QR-Code to the Red Address Digital Map.

QR-Codes are placed in areas convenient for propaganda work to encourage the participation and experience of parents, teachers and students. At the same time, this will also be a means for students to continue to acquire and synthesize knowledge to serve many competitions on red addresses organized by the city's Youth Union and Young Pioneers. At the same time, it creates opportunities for union members, young people, students and pupils to access red addresses more conveniently.

Waiting to pick up her child from school in front of Nguyen Thien Thuat Secondary School, Ms. Phan Thi Dung (residing in Cam Le district) was quite surprised when, with just a smartphone and a QR-Code scan, she was able to watch many videos introducing red addresses in the city.

“I find this model quite interesting and useful not only for students but also for working people, history lovers and those who want to learn about the relics in the city. The information and content are presented vividly, the videos are well-made, very attractive to viewers. I think this is a useful channel for children to learn more about local history,” Ms. Dung shared.

According to Secretary of the City Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung, digital products were created and integrated into the common QR-Code of the red address digital map, becoming a useful tool for propaganda, promotion and education.

“In order to spread and promote the effectiveness of the Red Address Digital Map, the City Youth Union coordinates with the Department of Education and Training to inform all teachers, especially History teachers, to research and use the Map to make their lessons more vivid. Particularly for primary and secondary schools, which often do not have or rarely use phones, the City Youth Union proactively coordinates with units to provide information about the Map to the parent associations of each class to share with parents to open for their children to see,” informed Secretary of the City Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung.

In conjunction with the propaganda of the Digital Red Address Map, 22 units under the City Youth Union simultaneously launched 22 propaganda teams at key historical and cultural sites. The propaganda teams will be trained in knowledge and skills in explaining cultural history; at the same time, they will be active factors in supporting the local Youth Union - Association - Team chapters in their journeys to the source, learning about historical sites and red addresses.

In Hai Chau district, in early May 2024, the District Youth Union launched a Propaganda Team with 15 members.

“These are young people representing wards in the district. Each of them has their own strengths such as understanding history, knowing information about red addresses, being proficient in foreign languages, and information technology to participate in building video products introducing red addresses. Since its establishment, the members of the Team have been actively working, building scripts to continue completing videos, attaching QR-Codes to red addresses in the district and red addresses assigned by the City Youth Union", said Secretary of the District Youth Union Nguyen Hai Chau Nguyen Thanh Phong.

In conjunction with studying and following Uncle Ho, over the past 3 years (2021-2024), the Standing Committee of the City Youth Union has directed all levels of the Youth Union in the city to organize the dissemination, study, propaganda and implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" through the Youth Union's revolutionary movements and actions, new, practical and effective models.

Thereby, contributing to enhancing the political capacity, pioneering spirit, and volunteerism of union members and young people in all aspects of life. This is also a solid foundation for the campaign "Building model values of Da Nang youth in the new era"; creating a widespread political movement among the youth of the whole city.

Accordingly, the Youth Union organizations, cadres and members have organized many meaningful youth projects and tasks, many good and practical models in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings, typically: Model "Reading books about Uncle Ho, learning and following"; Uncle Ho's Bookcase; Model "Learning from Uncle Ho's stories"; "We are always with Mother" "Lighting up the cemetery" "Flowers offered to Martyrs' graves". The content of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW is also included in the activities of the Youth Union branches, conferences and training programs. In addition, the units have also increased the organization of competitions, art programs, documentary film screenings... to learn about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.

“The activity of building the Red Address Digital Map is considered a “bright spot” in studying and following Uncle Ho. Units and youth union members have promoted the spirit of pioneering, overcoming many difficulties in terms of human resources, technology and resources to excellently complete digital products to integrate into the Red Address Digital Map. The efforts of the city’s Youth Union at all levels and youth union members, together with pride in their homeland’s traditions, are the solid foundation for the completion of the Red Address Digital Map and will be used as a useful propaganda tool at historical sites, red addresses and schools throughout the city,” said Secretary of the City Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung.

It can be affirmed that, from the effective propaganda and implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the city have created a strong change, promoting the role and responsibility of setting an example, the spirit of daring to think, daring to speak, daring to do, daring to take responsibility of the Youth Union cadres, creating trust among youth union members and attraction for Youth Union activities in the city.
