The program consists of three parts: Hanoi in the historical autumn days, The heroic song of the Ho Chi Minh era and Spring trains . Hanoi's history over 80 years, from the day the General Uprising took power, Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, to a peaceful and friendly capital, is vividly recreated through music, dance, opera and modern projection technology.
Melodies that have been deeply ingrained in the Vietnamese people's memories were sung: The Internationale (Pierre De Geyter), Guerrilla Song (Do Nhuan), Call of Youth (Luu Huu Phuoc), Destroy Fascism (Nguyen Dinh Thi), Together We Go Red Soldiers (Dinh Nhu), Eighteenth of August (Xuan Oanh)... The most impressive was the choir performance of Tien Quan Ca (Van Cao) with a new, modern arrangement but still retaining the sacred spirit.

Director Tuyet Minh combined music with short, expressive musical pieces, replacing lengthy commentary. Flexible props, from train windows transformed into bus stops, to LED star lanterns in children's hands, created a lively multi-layered stage, stretching from the steps of the Hanoi Opera House to the August Revolution Square.
The highlight was the 3D mapping projection on the facade of the Opera House - a building closely associated with Hanoi's history. The brilliant fireworks display concluded a "sound and light picture" recreating Hanoi from 1945 to the present, leaving a deep sense of pride in the hearts of tens of thousands of spectators at the August Revolution Square and millions of online viewers.
