(Dan Tri) - Duc, Hien and Dat invited each other on the evening of September 30 to bring swords and knives to walk around the streets, looking for other groups of young people to beat up to show off their abilities. As a result, all three were prosecuted.

On November 22, Hanoi City Police said that Dong Da District Police had prosecuted and temporarily detained 5 suspects for disturbing public order.

According to authorities, on the evening of September 30, Luong Hoang Minh Duc (18 years old, from Thai Binh province) drove a motorbike carrying Tran Gia Hien (17 years old, from Dong Da district) and Nguyen Thanh Dat (19 years old, from Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) carrying swords and knives to roam the streets.

The group's purpose is to chase and beat up a group of young people on the street to show off.

When arriving at the Dai Co Viet - Giai Phong intersection, the three subjects saw Nguyen Quoc Hung carrying Vu Manh Duc (also 16 years old, from Phu Tho ) holding a sword.

Duc's group cursed loudly and challenged Hung's group to fight. After that, the two groups drove their motorbikes at high speed, revving their engines, cursing at each other, weaving in and out of traffic, running red lights, and chasing each other on the streets of Xa Dan and O Cho Dua...

When they reached Nguyen Hy Quang Street, Duc’s car collided with a pedestrian’s motorbike. The knife the men were holding slashed the victim’s left thigh, causing a cut. However, the men continued to chase each other.

Immediately upon receiving information about the incident, Dong Da District Police promptly investigated and arrested the above 5 subjects.
