Mr. Luyen Huu Chung, Director of the Departmentof Education and Training of Yen Bai province, informed that due to prolonged heavy rain, a power outage occurred in Luc Yen district. However, the authorities were on duty and promptly responded and resolved the problem to ensure the best conditions for candidates to confidently enter the high school graduation exam.
Previously, on the night of June 24 and early morning of June 25 in Yen Bai, there was heavy rain, causing landslides and localized flooding in many areas. By noon, the weather cleared up, the water gradually receded, and the problems were resolved, all conditions were favorable for organizing the exam.

Early in the afternoon of June 25, with cool and pleasant weather, more than 9,000 candidates from Yen Bai province began arriving at the examination sites to complete the main procedures for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. At the beginning of the roads leading to the examination school, functional forces were on duty early to ensure safety, security and prevent unusual situations.
Coordination activities with functional forces such as military , police, health, telecommunications and electricity have been deployed synchronously by Yen Bai to promptly respond to natural disasters, ensure smooth traffic, security and order, food hygiene and safety, and maintain continuous power supply for examination sites.
According to statistics, this year's high school graduation exam, Yen Bai province has 32 exam sites, an increase of 4 sites compared to 2024. The entire Yen Bai province has 419 official exam rooms, along with 1 backup exam room at each exam site and 1 backup exam site for unusual situations.
Of which, the 2018 General Education Program has 31 testing locations with a total of 407 testing rooms and 9,137 candidates. In addition, the 2006 General Education Program will be held at Quang Trung Secondary School (Yen Bai City) with 12 testing rooms and 281 candidates.
Among the test sites, the largest test site is at Nguyen Hue High School (Yen Bai City) with 25 test rooms and 582 candidates. The test site in Nam Bung Commune (Van Chan District) has the smallest number of test rooms with 5 test rooms and 111 candidates.

Speaking to reporters of the Vietnam Law Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ha Van Tung - Captain of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Yen Bai Provincial Police, said that the Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 is responsible for ensuring traffic safety for the National High School Graduation Exam at 13 testing locations, including 7 testing locations in Yen Bai city, 4 testing locations in Van Yen district, and 2 testing locations in Tran Yen district. The team has proposed support plans to ensure traffic safety for candidates, including a plan to support candidates in moving in case of being affected by floods.
