Dak Nong Front builds 124 new solidarity houses for the poor

On the afternoon of June 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Nong province held the 3rd Conference, term V, term 2024 - 2029.

According to the draft report, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations have proactively and successfully implemented the tasks set out at the beginning of the year, contributing to creating consensus in society.

The fronts at all levels coordinate well in organizing activities to care for the poor and social security programs.

The conference focused on evaluating the situation of the front's work in the first 6 months of the year and deploying tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial “For the Poor” Fund Mobilization Committee has allocated 124 new solidarity houses with a total amount of over 6.9 billion VND. Of which, 38 houses have been handed over for use, the rest are expected to be completed by the end of August 2025; at the same time, livelihood support for 50 households with a total amount of 500 million VND...

Conference delegates

The work of participating in Party and government building continued to be improved. The Fatherland Front at all levels coordinated to successfully organize conferences to collect opinions on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; met with voters with National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels before and after the sessions. The Fatherland Front at all levels participated in giving opinions on nearly 60 draft documents issued by central agencies and departments, branches and sectors.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Ha Thi Hanh emphasized that on July 1, 2025, the district-level activities will end and the two-level local government model will be put into operation. The three provinces of Dak Nong, Lam Dong, and Binh Thuan will merge into a new province called Lam Dong. Therefore, the Fatherland Front at all levels urgently completes all tasks and work according to the roadmap before the two-level government organization comes into operation.

Regarding professional tasks, before the Central Committee issues new instructions, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels shall base on the Party's regulations, the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Resolution of the 10th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to concretize them into programs and plans for front work activities in the coming time.
