Front accompanies people in difficulty

The Fatherland Front at all levels constantly innovates, joins hands to mobilize social resources, spreads the spirit of sharing, and cares for people's welfare.

In Lien Chieu ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) Hai Van Branch to award a scholarship of 29 million VND to Ha Bao Chau (18 years old, residing in Trung Son group).

Bao Chau is a student with difficult circumstances, has strived to overcome and just passed the university entrance exam. Receiving the scholarship, Ha Bao Chau emotionally expressed her gratitude to the local government and sponsors, and promised to study hard to not disappoint everyone's expectations.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nguyen Thi Thanh Ward said that in the coming time, the Front will continue to mobilize philanthropists to accompany and support the child in his studies.

Mr. Tran Cong Nguyen, Chairman of Lien Chieu Ward People's Committee, said that in the first 9 months of 2025, units and enterprises in the area contributed more than 300 million VND to the Social Security Fund, contributing to caring for and supporting people to overcome difficulties.

Also with the spirit of "helping each other", in Tam Hai commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune coordinated with Dien Khanh pagoda and 68 Petroleum Trading and Service Company Limited to organize a program to give 100 gifts to poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in the area, with a total value of 50 million VND.

In addition, the Commune Front also gave wheelchairs to some disadvantaged disabled people, helping the elderly and disadvantaged people to have more convenience in their daily activities. Although the gifts were small, they demonstrated the spirit of “solidarity, attachment, and working together for the community”, and at the same time spread the message of humanity and sharing in society.

Mr. Pham Van Chau, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Hai Commune, said that in the coming time, the Commune Front will continue to call for and connect more social resources to take care of people's lives, contributing to building an increasingly developed and civilized homeland. Not only stopping at providing material support, the Front and local organizations also focus on implementing many sustainable social security programs.

Meanwhile, in Tam Anh commune, the Front and commune organizations have proactively and actively implemented many practical support activities, contributing to creating livelihoods and improving people's lives. With the motto "leaving no one behind", the Commune Front and its member organizations have promoted policies to support employment and vocational training for union members, association members and people, especially households in difficult circumstances.

According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huynh Luong Trung commune, in recent times, units have organized many training courses and transferred science and technology in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, garment, mechanics, etc., helping people access new knowledge, improve labor skills, gradually create jobs, increase income and stabilize their lives.

The unions also proactively connected with businesses and production facilities inside and outside the locality to introduce and create jobs for more than 200 young workers and workers from poor and near-poor households.

In addition, preferential credit programs and loan support from the Social Policy Bank continue to be effectively implemented, creating conditions for people to invest in production development, livestock farming, and housing improvement. Many households have escaped poverty and become well-off thanks to the effective and proper use of loans. In particular, this source of capital also helps students in difficult circumstances continue their dream of going to school, nurturing their dreams of studying and starting a business, contributing to ensuring fairness in access to education .
