Mr. Ha Cong Hoang - Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee said: Since 2012, the Party Committee of Hung Thinh Commune has issued a Resolution on the development of citrus fruit trees. In particular, with the attention and support of the district, the movement of growing citrus fruit trees in the locality has been promoted. Many households in the commune have actively converted the hilly areas of forest land for growing tea and low-economic efficiency paper materials such as acacia and bodhi to grow fruit trees.

Hung Thinh currently has over 300 households growing citrus fruit trees with varieties such as sugar oranges, seedless oranges, lotus tangerines, Dien grapefruits, Doan Hung grapefruits, four-season lemons, etc. The total area of ​​citrus fruit trees in the commune is over 170 hectares, mainly being harvested and grown in Yen Binh, Truc Chinh, Truc Khang, and Yen Phu villages. The total output of all kinds of fruit reached 3,000 tons, worth over 6 billion VND.

In addition to growing fruit trees, thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, up to now, the commune has maintained 44 effective economic models, many of which are highly effective. Typically: The 2.8-hectare comprehensive farm development model of Mr. Mai Van Tinh - a farmer member of Khang Chinh village, growing four-season lemons, tangerines, pomelos, raising monosex tilapia, raising soft-shell turtles, raising livestock and poultry, etc. Mr. Tinh's farm has created regular jobs for 3-5 workers, with an average income of 5-6 million VND/month, bringing in an annual income of over 550 million VND for his family.

The commercial pig farming model of Mr. Nguyen Van Tuom's family in Yen Dinh village raises 200 pigs/litter and 40 sows, bringing in an annual income of over 500 million VND. The citrus fruit growing model of Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc in Yen Binh village with an area of ​​2.5 hectares brings in an income of over 400 million VND... These models in the commune have been and are being effective, and are the right way to develop the economy, improve living standards, and enrich oneself legitimately.

Mr. Ha Cong Hoang - Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee said: In order to promote economic development, the Commune Fatherland Front and its member organizations have mobilized investment resources to promote economic development, propagate and mobilize union members, members and people, apply science and technology in production, coordinate to implement models of developing farms, family farms, cooperatives, and cooperative groups in the area suitable to the conditions of the village and commune, develop the economy according to cooperative groups and cooperatives. Regularly create conditions for poor and near-poor households to access preferential policy capital sources from the Social Policy Bank and the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to invest in production, livestock and develop services to help households have conditions to invest in livestock and crop farming to escape poverty.

Actively promote high-quality goods, change the structure of crops and livestock, develop the economy by selecting regions suitable for soil and climate, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations do a good job of propagating to the people the work of preventing and controlling diseases for crops and livestock effectively. Promote links between production and business models, between "good farmers" to share experiences, boost production and find markets. Strengthen coordination, act as a bridge to help farmers consume agricultural products.
