
During the last term, Tien Canh Commune Front mobilized more than 280 million VND from the Fund for the Poor; thereby supporting the construction of 4 new houses and repairing 14 solidarity houses, supporting 123 cases of difficulties. From the higher funding source, the Commune Front coordinated with the Commune People's Committee to build 9 new houses and repair 11 houses for households affected by natural disasters.
The Front coordinated with member organizations and benefactors to present more than 400 gifts worth more than 300 million VND, and 8 breeding cows worth 72 million VND. It mobilized nearly 500 million VND, 2.2 tons of necessities for COVID-19 prevention and control; and mobilized more than 120 million VND to support families with deceased and affected by COVID-19.
In the new rural construction, the Commune Front coordinated to mobilize people to donate nearly 10,000 square meters of land and architectural structures to expand 21 inter-village and inter-hamlet roads. In addition, it coordinated to help 32 households escape poverty and 106 households escape near-poverty. To date, the poverty rate has decreased to 2.58% (down 1.46% compared to the beginning of the term).

The Congress elected 33 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Canh Commune, term XII. Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Commune.
On this occasion, Tien Canh Commune People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune commended 10 collectives and 8 individuals who successfully completed the tasks of the Front for the 2019-2024 term.
