Child model Nguyen Hoang Diep shines in designer Nhat Thuc's collection

Long's show with designs from the new collection by designer Nhat Thuc just took place in Hanoi . The show once again showed the young designer's passion for preserving the traditional cultural features of the nation.

A prominent appearance in the program is Nguyen Hoang Diep - a 6-year-old child model who performed at Vietnam International Fashion Week F/W 2023 .

Possessing good catwalk skills, professional demeanor and expression, Nguyen Hoang Diep continues to be chosen as the representative face of Nhat Thuc in this year's fashion season.

At the "Long show", the little girl made an impression when she walked confidently in a striking blue and yellow outfit with a dragon pattern winding around the body of the dress.

The Long show is part of a series of costume design projects inspired by the Four Sacred Animals: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix by designer Nhat Thuc.

After the success of the 2021 show with the design idea from the Phoenix and 2022 with the design idea from the Unicorn, this year, designer Nhat Thuc continues to launch 3 collections with design ideas from the Dragon - a noble animal in Vietnamese beliefs.

In the collection, Nhat Thuc exploits the dragon image in Dai Viet patterns to incorporate into the traditional ao dai. The highlight of the costumes of this period is the images of clouds, flowers, leaves, and nature meticulously embroidered on the body of the dress, symbolizing the intersection between nature and the human soul.

In his designs, he incorporates new, modern elements while preserving the unique beauty of Vietnamese culture.

Designer Nhat Thuc said: “I am always troubled when witnessing traditional cultural values being increasingly lost. In today's fast-paced society, children rarely have access to and enjoy ancient art forms. That is why, in addition to collections for adults, I have launched many collections for children so that they can understand more about the traditional values of the nation.”
