This morning, Division 372 (Air Defense - Air Force) continued to carry out flights carrying relief goods to people affected by floods.
Division 372 ordered Regiment 930 to prepare helicopters and rescue forces to be ready to fly to rescue people.
With a spirit of urgency, speed and timeliness, at exactly 7:32 a.m., the Mi-17 aircraft of Regiment 930 at Phu Cat airport took off with 1.5 tons of food, provisions and necessities including dry rations, cakes, milk, drinking water, life jackets...


This plane transported necessities to support people in areas isolated by floods in Tuy An Dong, Tuy An Tay, and Long Thang Stadium of Dak Lak province.
After completing the first flight to drop relief supplies, the pilot and crew quickly prepared to carry out the second flight.
At 9:45 a.m., the Mi-17 aircraft of Regiment 930 at Phu Cat airport took off on the second flight with 2 tons of food and necessities to continue supporting people in Dak Lak.

At an online meeting with the Prime Minister this morning, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Deputy Minister of National Defense, said that the General Department of Logistics and Technology coordinated with the State Reserve Department to issue and transport national reserve goods according to the Prime Minister's decision to localities affected by floods; organized the transportation of 30,000 sets of civilian clothes and 15,000 double tulle curtains to help people affected by floods.
As of November 22, the Ministry of National Defense has mobilized 44,668 officers, soldiers, militia and 2,231 vehicles to help people overcome the consequences of floods.
The Ministry of National Defense directed units to coordinate with local authorities and forces to evacuate 27,283 households/93,705 people; transport food, necessities, 86.5 tons of goods; support 8,000 sets of civilian clothes; provide 150 tents; provide 14 tons of Cloramin B; give 2,500 gifts; 3,000 boxes of instant noodles; 1,000 boxes of clean water; 2,500 double tulle curtains; 2,500 single tulle curtains...
Military Region 5 organized the transportation and distribution of: 11 tons of dry food ( Gia Lai Provincial Military Command 4 tons; Dak Lak Provincial Military Command 4 tons; Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command 3 tons), 20,000 packs of instant noodles, 12,000 bottles of mineral water, 12,000 loaves of bread, 12,000 cartons of milk, 2,000 packages of sausages, 3,000 cans of canned meat; 2,300 gifts. The army also repaired 74 houses (Dak Lak 48, Gia Lai 26); organized the cleaning of 14 schools (Dak Lak 11, Gia Lai 3); cleared mud and sanitized 14.5km of roads.
According to Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, the Ministry of National Defense is focusing on directing the strict maintenance of on-duty regimes at all levels; mobilizing the highest level of forces and means to help people respond to and overcome the consequences of floods, landslides, and search and rescue.
Military Regions 5, 7, Corps 34 and units in the local areas affected by floods and storms coordinated with local authorities to review flooded, landslide-affected, isolated areas; mobilize forces and vehicles to evacuate people and property. Units also coordinated with localities to support people with food, necessities, and clean water; handle environmental sanitation, prevent epidemics, and clean schools.
The Air Defense - Air Force, Corps 18 is ready to mobilize helicopters for rescue and transport of food and necessities to isolated areas.
