
At around 3:15 p.m. on May 4, dark clouds gathered over many areas in Hai Duong province. Wind and light rain began to appear.
Previously, according to the news broadcast at 3:00 p.m. the same day, the provincial Hydrometeorological Station informed: Through monitoring radar images, it shows that convective clouds are developing in the sky of Hung Yen province, moving towards Hai Duong province.
In the next 30 minutes to several hours, these convective clouds will continue to develop and move, causing showers and thunderstorms in the districts of Cam Giang, Binh Giang, Gia Loc, Thanh Mien, and Ninh Giang.
After that, the rain is likely to gradually spread to other districts, towns and cities such as Chi Linh, Kinh Mon, Thanh Ha, Cam Giang, Tu Ky, Thanh Mien, and Hai Duong city.

During thunderstorms, be careful of lightning, tornadoes and strong winds that can break trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure, endangering human life.
The warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail in Hai Duong area is currently at level 1. Agencies, units, and people need to proactively monitor and prevent.
