When the fruit is ready to harvest, to prevent insects, Mr. Lam uses biological products and organic active ingredients to spray on the leaves and trunks of the tree to repel insects, prevent diseases for the tree effectively, ensuring safety for users.

With each fruit weighing 1.5 - 1.8 kg, the family can harvest about 10 tons of grapefruit. Currently, Tet grapefruit is sold for about 30,000 VND/kg for type 1 and 20,000 - 25,000 VND/kg for type 2.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Da Huoai district, the current area of green-skinned grapefruit in the whole district is more than 350 hectares. The localities with the main area of green-skinned grapefruit in the district are Da Lay, Da Kho, My Duc, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai... The yield is from 15 - 20 tons/ha/year. Green-skinned grapefruit grown locally has a relatively uniform fruit shape, is highly appreciated by consumers for its quality, and some gardens have been recognized as 3-star OCOP products.
