Mercedes-Benz E-Class "big sale" with a discount of up to 680 million VND

Some official Mercedes-Benz dealers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are currently offering the luxury sedan E-Class with incentives of up to hundreds of millions of VND.

Accordingly, the standard version of Mercedes-Benz E 180 is currently offered for sale from about 1.77 billion VND, significantly lower than the listed price of 2.099 billion VND. The two higher versions, E 200 and E 300 AMG, are also priced at about 1.96 billion and 2.27 billion VND respectively, while the official prices on the Mercedes-Benz Vietnam website are 2.519 billion and 2.999 billion VND.

Thus, the highest incentive is up to approximately 680 million VND. This figure is considered one of the most generous incentives of the E-Class line in the Vietnamese market in recent years. However, the selling price may fluctuate depending on the policy of each dealer.

Note that all E-Class cars on sale are from the 2023 model year, which means they have been on the market for more than a year. This is an upgrade of the current generation, which was introduced in Vietnam in 2021.

Despite some design and equipment tweaks, this model still retains the familiar configuration with a dual-screen cluster, a new steering wheel, and a 2.0L engine tuned for each version. The car is equipped with a standard 9-speed automatic transmission.

The deep discount for the old E-Class is considered a reasonable step in the context that the new generation version of this sedan is about to arrive in Vietnam. In April 2024, a new generation E-Class was spotted at an emission testing center in Hanoi .

Although it is not clear whether the car is a personal import or one brought in by Mercedes-Benz Vietnam to prepare for launch, this move shows that the time for product delivery is near.

The new generation E-Class will be introduced globally from 2023 with a significantly more modern design. The exterior of the car is inspired by the EQS line, while the interior is completely transformed with a dashboard layout that is full of technology, clearly different from the traditional dual screen on the current version.

The upcoming appearance of the new generation E-Class in Vietnam will mark a new competition in the mid-size luxury sedan segment, where rival BMW 5 Series is also expected to launch a completely new version this year.

With two key car models entering the product transition phase, the market may witness many fluctuations in prices and sales policies in the coming time.
