Microsoft established the MAI group to develop Humanist Superintelligence, which is different from the current AGI trend. The project is directly led and strategically guided by Mustafa Suleyman, co-founder of DeepMind.
MAI focuses on building AI that excels at specific tasks but remains under human control. Microsoft is committed to investing heavily, attracting talent from the world's leading AI labs.
MAI will develop a companion AI assistant to help reduce mental load and support personalized learning. In the medical field, MAI aims for expert-level clinical diagnosis and planning capabilities. MAI is also expected to solve the energy crisis with renewable technology and new materials.
The project demonstrates a controlled AI strategy that prioritizes human values over the race for omnipotent intelligence. Dear readers, please watch more videos : AI Trash Cleaning | Hanoi 18:00
