At the seminar, representatives of many businesses shared the problems that Vietnamese goods are facing such as: low self-sufficiency rate of raw materials, not yet escaping the mindset of raw production, lack of green transformation resources to meet the requirements of demanding markets. Businesses expect that Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 will be an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of market characteristics and build brands for Vietnamese products.
The seminar "Vietnam International Sourcing - Diversifying export markets" is an opportunity for participants to exchange, share and seek solutions to improve the effectiveness of trade connections.
At the seminar, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that a series of 3 events: Vietnam International Sourcing, Ho Chi Minh City Export Forum and Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair will take place from September 4 to 6, 2025, in which Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 is expected to welcome more than 60 international trade offices and branches, more than 300 purchasing delegations from 60 countries and territories. Through the exhibition, purchasing delegations will access more than 12,000 products from agricultural products, beverages, processed foods to industrial consumer goods such as textiles, footwear, wooden products, furniture, packaging and supporting industries...
The Ministry of Industry and Trade will promote market diversification and take advantage of free trade agreements to support Vietnamese enterprises to expand exports in the context of market fluctuations.
Mr. Ta Hoang Linh - Director of the Foreign Market Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the focus will be on connecting with potential markets, especially the Middle East, Brazil and Argentina; at the same time, coordinate to provide information and guide manufacturing enterprises to meet the criteria of each market, thereby supporting enterprises to penetrate the international distribution system.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade also emphasized that in the context of market fluctuations, the Ministry will strongly implement market diversification activities, taking advantage of signed free trade agreements to support Vietnamese enterprises in finding new markets.
