The first fire broke out at around 8:30 a.m. the same day at an apartment on the 14th floor of the HH4A Linh Dam apartment building (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi ).
Residents here discovered thick black smoke coming from the balcony of the apartment above, so they informed the on-site fire fighting force including security guards and the building management board to quickly come and put out the fire. Equipment such as hand-held fire extinguishers and the building's hose system were used.
Along with that, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Hoang Mai district mobilized 5 fire trucks and officers to the scene to perform their duties. After about 15 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished.
The second fire broke out at around 10am in an apartment on the 23rd floor of the Eurowindow River Park Dong Tru apartment building (Dong Anh district, Hanoi).
The fire was raging and black smoke was discovered by local people, so they informed the local fire fighting force early.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Dong Anh district also mobilized specialized fire trucks with officers on duty, inspected the fire scene, prevented possible risks and investigated the cause.
It is known that both fires were extinguished promptly so there were no human casualties, property damage is being counted.
