At BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC), Mr. Tran Hoai An has just been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2025-2030 term, while Ms. Doan Thi Thu Huyen has held the position of General Director since May 23. Mr. An's predecessor was Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang.
Previously, at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on May 8, Mr. Tran Hoai An and Ms. Doan Thi Thu Huyen were both elected to the Board of Directors for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Tran Hoai An was born in 1968, has a Master's degree in Business Administration, joined the BIC system in 2009 and has held many positions such as Director of BIC Binh Dinh, Director of BIC Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy General Director, General Director.
Ms. Doan Thi Thu Huyen was born in 1974, has a Master's degree in Business Administration, has held the position of Deputy General Director of BIC since 2012 and has held positions at BIDV Bank such as Head of Department, Deputy Director of BIDV Personnel Department.
Thus, Ms. Huyen succeeds the position of General Director left by Mr. Tran Hoai An.

BIC's Board of Directors currently has eight members, representing two major shareholders, BIDV Bank and Fairfax.
BIC currently has a charter capital of 1,172 billion VND, in the Top 5 non-life insurance companies with the highest market share in Vietnam.
According to the shareholder structure, parent bank BIDV holds 51.01% of charter capital. Foreign strategic shareholder Fairfax Asia Limited holds 35%, the remaining 13.99% belongs to other shareholders.
In 2025, BIC aims to have the parent company's insurance premium revenue reach VND5,600 billion (an increase of more than 10% compared to 2024); consolidated pre-tax profit reach VND710 billion (an increase of 10%). The company also plans to increase its charter capital to VND2,020 billion, aiming to be in the group of 4 insurance companies with the highest charter capital in the market.
BIC, along with nine other insurance companies, has just signed a contract to insure all property risks for the VinFast automobile manufacturing complex in Hai Phong for the two-year period 2025-2026.
