Mourinho makes breakthrough in Sancho transfer, MU rejoices

Coach Mourinho is close to bringing Jadon Sancho to Fenerbahce, when the Turkish team sent an official transfer offer to MU.

Fenerbahce are ready to pay Manchester United £15.1m to end Jadon Sancho's miserable time at Old Trafford.

According to Sabah Spor, Sancho has agreed personal terms with the Turkish team, with a salary of around £8.5 million/year.

Fenerbahce also sent MU an offer worth 18 million euros (15.1 million pounds), slightly lower than the Red Devils' valuation for Sancho (about 20 to 25 million pounds).

The English winger is one of four "big guys" that MU needs to get rid of this summer, along with Marcus Rashford, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho.

After Chelsea paid a £5 million fine to end the obligation to buy outright, MU had difficulty finding a way out for Sancho.

The English striker's contract expires in June 2026, so this summer is the last chance for the Manchester team to collect a transfer fee from Sancho.

A £300,000-a-week salary is a barrier for many clubs, but low tax rates in Türkiye would see Sancho earn a salary on par with what he is currently earning at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho, who really likes Sancho's playing style, is urging Fenerbahce leaders to close the deal this month.
