On November 16, the Board of Directors of Nha Trang University decided to let all students switch to online learning from November 17 to November 22. This announcement was made to ensure the safety of students and lecturers when traveling in bad weather conditions.
Associate Professor To Van Phuong, Head of the school's training department, said that the weather forecast in Khanh Hoa shows a risk of heavy rain, strong winds and other extreme weather events. Therefore, to minimize the risk of natural disasters and ensure that the learning plan is not interrupted, the school has proactively implemented an online teaching solution next week.
The Department of Training, Infrastructure and IT is responsible for supporting lecturers and students in the transition to online form. The school recommends that faculties proactively arrange appropriate schedules for classes, tests and assessments, and remind students to proactively check their connection, prepare learning equipment and update weather conditions regularly.

A representative of Nha Trang University said that this decision not only ensures safety but also maintains the quality of training, minimizing disruptions in the teaching process. When the weather conditions stabilize after November 22, the school will consider bringing students back to in-person learning according to the normal plan.
