The Fatherland Front participates in supervising food safety work.

Heads of front work committees in residential areas attended a training conference on front work organized by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The Fatherland Front system at all levels has focused on disseminating legal documents on food safety; standards, regulations on food hygiene and safety conditions and the harmful effects of unsafe food. With diverse and rich forms, easy-to-understand and appropriate content, the propaganda work has been effectively implemented through forms such as coordinating with functional sectors, socio -political organizations, and media agencies to strengthen propaganda, printing, and distributing documents, slogans, leaflets, and propaganda posters... to change living habits and the production of unhygienic food that has a high risk of affecting public health. At the same time, it arouses and promotes honesty, awareness, and responsibility for public health of organizations and individuals producing and trading food.

In the coordination of training on food safety law, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has organized training conferences on food safety management and supervision skills for members of the executive board of the model "Residential Areas (KDC) self-managed on food safety", the Front Working Committee in the KDC and owners of production, business and food processing establishments. The Fatherland Front at all levels focuses on training and fostering knowledge, management and supervision skills on food safety for the Front Working Committee in the KDC, the management board of the model "Residential Areas (KDC) self-managed on food safety".

In order to raise awareness of compliance with food safety laws for each individual, household, producer and business person and the community, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has actively propagated and mobilized union members, association members and people to participate in monitoring to detect violations of food safety laws. Organize conferences and seminars to share experiences in propaganda and mobilization work for people to participate in ensuring food safety; promptly propagate new legal regulations on food safety to improve knowledge and skills in management and supervision of food safety. Coordinate with departments, branches and organizations to integrate food safety work with the implementation of the campaigns "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; build and replicate effective models such as: Model of "Self-managed residential areas on food safety", "Bright, green, clean, beautiful and safe residential areas"; Coordinate with the health sector to seriously implement information and propaganda work and monitor food poisoning.

In 2024 alone, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee organized and integrated with campaigns and movements to organize 28 conferences to disseminate legal regulations on ensuring security and food safety for 6,240 participants; organized 2 conferences to train legal knowledge, management and supervision skills for 460 members of the Residential Area Front Working Group. Built and replicated models of "Self-managed residential areas on food safety"; deployed the construction of 5 models of "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe residential areas". At the same time, organized 10 conferences to disseminate criteria for building model residential areas and ensuring food safety for 2,100 people in residential areas building the model of "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe residential areas".

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vo Minh Khoa, in the coming time, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will continue to thoroughly and extensively disseminate the contents of the directives, conclusions, plans of the Central Government, the province and legal documents on food safety to cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life in the province to create consensus in organizing and implementing. Continue to integrate food safety assurance work with the implementation of campaigns; build and replicate models of "self-managed residential areas on food safety", "bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe residential areas". Organize conferences and seminars to share experiences in propaganda work, mobilizing people to participate in ensuring food safety; promptly disseminate new legal regulations on food safety assurance to improve knowledge, management and supervision skills on food safety. Organize training courses to improve knowledge and skills in food safety management and supervision for the front working committee in residential areas and the management board of the “self-managed residential area on food safety” model. Coordinate with relevant departments, sectors and agencies to strengthen supervision of food safety work to detect and recommend strict and timely handling of violations in food production, business and processing.
