MU is still trying to maintain a stable financial level by selling excess players.

According to The Telegraph , MU earned nearly 21 million pounds from resale clauses related to the contracts of Anthony Elanga, Alvaro Carreras and Maxi Oyedele. Although they are not famous names, making the most of the transfer value from young players or players who left the club earlier helps the Old Trafford team reduce the financial burden.

Not stopping there, MU also plans to sell Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia before the summer transfer window closes in 2025. MU's board of directors is ready to listen to attractive offers, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the budget and complying with regulations on profit and financial sustainability (PSR).

If the Sesko deal goes through, The Athletic has revealed that MU are also ready to offload Rasmus Hojlund. The Danish striker cost more than £70 million but could leave Old Trafford for just £30 million.

Along with selling players, the "Red Devils" also implemented a series of other saving solutions such as cutting salaries, dividing transfer costs in the Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo deals and letting Marcus Rashford go to Barcelona to save nearly 13 million pounds in salary.

All of these moves are aimed at bringing Sesko to Old Trafford. MU raised the asking price for the Slovenian striker to 74.1 million pounds. Currently, Sesko has agreed personal terms with the "Red Devils" and the deal could be completed soon.
