MU considers selling Garnacho. |
Mirror said MU once asked for nearly 60 million pounds for Garnacho, but now it is possible that the "Red Devils" will reduce the price to speed up the deal. MU's expected figure at this time is 50 million pounds.
In January, Napoli sent an offer of around £40 million for the 20-year-old player but it was rejected by MU. Currently, Garnacho is entering a "quick and somewhat tense" farewell with the Old Trafford team.
Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is expected to meet with United officials this week to begin negotiations.
Garnacho was not involved in MU's 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the final round of the Premier League. However, he still joined the "Red Devils" to participate in the tour of Malaysia and Hong Kong (China) this month.
Garnacho started 10 of 14 Europa League games, scoring once and providing four assists. However, being benched for the final against Tottenham left Garnacho feeling underused.
According to BBC , coach Ruben Amorim also accepted to let Garnacho leave so that he could reinvest in other more suitable factors.
Napoli have stepped up their Premier League signings following their success with Scott McTominay, Romelu Lukaku and Billy Gilmour last summer, with the Serie A champions also keen on signing Kevin de Bruyne.
