In agriculture , more than 355 hectares of rice, crops and fragrant squash were damaged.
According to statistics, about 90 cows died and were swept away by floods; more than 16 hectares of aquatic products were damaged, of which in Ba Be alone about 3 tons of sturgeon died and were swept away.
The traffic system was severely damaged when many roads were eroded and blocked on Provincial Road 258 and National Highway 279. The inter-village road in Coc Dan commune, Ngan Son district was eroded 30m; the inter-village road in Luong Bang commune, Cho Don district was blocked due to landslides.
Regarding irrigation, 150m of embankment was damaged; many canals and ditches were eroded and damaged; 930m of river and stream banks were eroded, along with many other damages.
In addition, 4 electric poles were broken and 1 factory was damaged.
To urgently overcome the consequences, provincial, district and commune leaders have established working groups to inspect and direct; visit, encourage and provide initial support to families with losses of life and property.
Local authorities mobilized local forces to help people overcome the situation.
