On November 26, Mr. Tran Van Thuan - Director of Dak Lak Electricity Company - said that they are continuing to fix problems and restore infrastructure after floods, with the goal of striving to connect electricity to all customers in flooded areas today.
The total number of customers in Dak Lak who lost power during the flood was 340,822 (35.98% of the entire company). By the morning of November 25, 18,045 customers (1.9%) had not received power, while 322,777 customers had their power restored.
The total number of distribution transformer stations without power is 3,567 stations (33.7%), currently 283 stations (2.67%) have not yet resumed operation.
The eastern part of Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen province) is the most severely damaged area. The 110kV grid problems have been completely resolved, but the 22kV medium voltage grid still has 222 stations that have been temporarily shut down, leaving 17,400 customers (about 5.5% of the area) without power.

Many areas are still deeply flooded, forcing the electricity industry to wait for safe conditions before moving in. Important loads such as hospitals, water supply, administrative agencies, telecommunication stations, etc. are being prioritized for restoration.
According to Mr. Thuan, the large number of incidents and the wide range of influence forced Dak Lak Electricity to mobilize maximum forces. Accordingly, 100% of the personnel in the eastern part of the province have been activated, while the western units have also mobilized more people, supplies and vehicles to support.
The Central Power Corporation also mobilized more than 250 technical staff from Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang , and Quang Ngai, bringing the total number of staff to about 1,350 people, along with dozens of cranes, trucks, and hundreds of motorbikes to participate in the repair work.

"We aim to basically restore the entire damaged power grid and restore power to all affected customers by the end of November 26," said Mr. Thuan.
He said the unit is preparing a response plan for storm No. 15, which is expected to continue to impact the eastern region.
Mr. Thuan emphasized that all equipment and lines must be carefully checked to eliminate the risk of leakage after many days of being submerged in water. The electricity industry can only check the construction pole; the electricity in the house must be checked by the people themselves. If the protection device automatically shuts off when a problem occurs, people need to report it immediately for timely support.
"After the restoration is completed, we will develop a plan to support households that have suffered heavy damage, including providing essential electrical equipment so that people can soon stabilize their lives," said Mr. Thuan.
