
Muong Khieng Commune has assigned cadres to each village to check the current status, prepare documents according to the support criteria; at the same time, mobilize people to contribute working days, support materials, and guide households to borrow preferential loans to build houses that meet the "3 hard" standards. Mr. Dinh Manh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Muong Khieng Commune, said: As of mid-November 2025, 4 houses have started construction, expected to be completed before December, and 42 households will continue to do so in 2026. The Party Committee has directed the People's Committee of the commune, mass organizations, and the Management Board of the villages to mobilize people's strength, combine resources to speed up the progress; guide households with the ability to borrow capital to access policy credit sources to build houses.
Along with the support fund of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee with the support level of 40 million VND/house, Muong Khieng has mobilized from socialization; at the same time, the Commune Fatherland Front proactively propagated, mobilized and monitored, ensuring that all disadvantaged households were supported promptly; the commune's unions mobilized working days to help households build new houses.
The support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the villages is attracting the participation of the community. Mr. Quang Van Trong, Party Cell Secretary and Head of Na Ten village, said: The village has 120 households. After checking, 5 households without permanent houses asked for support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Up to now, 1 household has been supported and started construction, expected to be completed in December, and 4 households will start in 2026. The village has mobilized people to contribute hundreds of working days to support families who are building houses to transport construction materials, dismantle old houses, dig foundations, to soon complete the house construction and stabilize their lives.

As a household receiving support to remove temporary houses this year, Mr. Lo Van Ky's family in Na Ten village is busy completing a level 4 house of nearly 90 square meters. Mr. Ky said: The family's old house was built many years ago and has deteriorated. I am very happy to receive 40 million VND from the State and borrow more from relatives to help my family build a new house.
In Lua B village, Mr. Quang Van Hong's family is also building a new house with his brothers and relatives. Mr. Hong emotionally shared: "My family's old house has been dilapidated for a long time. I am grateful to the commune and village authorities and my relatives for helping my family have a solid house and feel secure in working and producing."
To help people have a safe and stable place to live, Muong Khieng commune is urgently completing the items, striving to move 4 households into new houses in December. Temporary, dilapidated houses are gradually being replaced by new, solid and spacious houses, helping people settle down and find work.
