In 2024, nearly 3,500 units will be inspected and examined regarding social insurance and health insurance.

At the city level, Hanoi Social Insurance will conduct interdisciplinary inspections of 200 employers; specialized inspections of 250 employers; inspections of 100 employers and inspections of short-term social insurance benefits at 20 employers.

The sector will also conduct inspections at 30 medical examination and treatment facilities; 15 collection and payment service organizations and internal inspections at 15 district, county and town social insurance agencies.

In districts, towns, and cities, the city's Social Insurance assigned local Social Insurance agencies to conduct interdisciplinary inspections of 500 units; inspect 1,980 labor-using units.

Also in 2024, the Social Insurance sector will conduct specialized inspections of 400 units in 9 districts including: Ba Dinh (50 units); Hoan Kiem (50 units); Tay Ho (50 units); Long Bien (45 units); Cau Giay (50 units); Soc Son (10 units); Nam Tu Liem (50 units); Ha Dong (50 units) and Bac Tu Liem (45 units).

In general, according to the plan, during the year, the Social Insurance sector will inspect and examine nearly 3,500 units regarding Social Insurance and Health Insurance. In addition, the authorities will conduct surprise inspections and examinations of enterprises showing signs of violating the law on Social Insurance, Unemployment Insurance and Health Insurance; and surprise inspections of medical examination and treatment facilities showing signs of violating the law on Health Insurance.

Previously, in 2023, the Social Insurance sector coordinated with functional agencies and units to conduct more than 4,000 inspections and examinations of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, thereby recovering hundreds of billions of VND to the Social Insurance Fund due to late payment, insufficient payment time, and insufficient payment for the number of working employees; and recovering tens of billions of VND to the Health Insurance Fund due to medical facilities spending in violation of regulations.
